Intel Advises Windows 7 64-Bit Installation

For Kabylake platform products, Intel advises that there is no W7 32-bit driver for the ACPIMSFT0101 device. However, there is a hotfix available for W7 64-bit.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Switch to W7 64-bit.
2. Download and install the Microsoft hotfix provided below.
3. Run the hotfix to install the device.

Note: The hotfix is only compatible with W7 64-bit.

Device Manager Details

After installing the hotfix, the device will be listed in the Device Manager as ACPIMSFT0101. Figure 1 shows the device in English.
