Former Port Adelaide Great Doubles Down on Criticism

Cornes Insists Moore Needs to Toughen Up

Kane Cornes, former Port Adelaide great and current AFL pundit, has doubled down on his recent criticism of Collingwood captain Darcy Moore, accusing him of being too easy to play against.

Cornes believes that Moore has not been tough enough in recent matches, and needs to toughen up if he wants to help his team improve.

Cornes' comments come after Moore was criticized for his performance in Collingwood's loss to the Western Bulldogs last Saturday.

In the wake of the loss, Moore said that he wanted to be a "better contested player." Cornes believes that Moore needs to back up his words with actions.

"Darcy Moore is a good player, but he's not tough enough," Cornes said on SEN radio.

"He needs to be harder at the ball, and he needs to be more physical. He's too easy to play against at the moment."

Moore has been a key part of Collingwood's defense for the past few seasons, but he has struggled to find his best form in recent months.

Collingwood is currently 2-5 this season and is in danger of missing the finals. Cornes believes that Moore needs to step up and lead his team if they want to turn their season around.

"Darcy Moore is a leader of this Collingwood team," Cornes said.

"He needs to stand up and be counted. He needs to show his teammates that he's not afraid to get his hands dirty."
