Episode Recap
Monique and her daughter leave for overseas, and Butcher reinstates Butcher as their handler. The Boys release a video of Homelander killing civilians, but it backfires when Homelander deflects the blame onto The Boys. The Boys then try to take down Homelander's plane, but they are unsuccessful.
Annie Starlight fights Deep in the sewers, and A-Train and Butcher save the hostages. Homelander's plan to manipulate public opinion looks like it might work, but it is not a good thing for him or anyone else.
Ending Explained
By the end of the episode, Annie Starlight has lost her faith in Homelander and joins The Boys. Butcher and Homelander have a final confrontation, which ends with Butcher being seriously injured.
